What you'll do

Work collaboratively with internal clients at all levels, from individual contributors through executives, to complete thorough capability needs analysis including functional/technical skills, leadership skills, business knowledge, tools, processes and systems, while building positive relationships with key stakeholders across enterprise business units.
Understand business and capability needs, and design, develop, implement and measure a comprehensive multi-site merchant development program leveraging enterprise learning and development resources as applicable
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop content in a variety of learning formats to develop desired capabilities at all levels in Retail
Partner with HR and Talent Management to integrate merchant development into the Retail talent management process by designing strategies to identify and retain high-potential talent, create succession plans for critical roles, support the talent review process, and build into the goalsetting and performance management process.
Partner with the Category Specialist program to design, develop, and implement targeted development to category specialists, including onboarding, business context, professional skills, and functional, technical, and leadership development
Develop, maintain, and oversee vendor relationships including logistics, content development, delivery, and e-technology.
Develop and implement strategies/curriculum to train managers in coaching, mentoring and developing associates.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources or other related field.
An MBA or Master's Degree in Human Resources Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field is preferred.
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Organizational and Talent development implementing associate development or talent management programs and/or processes.
Experience in business and change management is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
Demonstrated capability as a project manager, delivering on complex associate development and learning programs.
Strong problem-solving, organization, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Familiar with retail and eCommerce industries
Able to maintain and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders and business partners in a complex, matrixed, geographically distributed organization
