What you'll do

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business
plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring
progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Manages daily operations of automation systems by performing routine maintenance of instruments and controls utilized to process materials from
raw state to a finished product; upgrading and replacing components and control systems; continuously monitoring all operations processes; and
i mmediately identifying malfunctions and correct as needed.
Supports plant operations quality and continuous improvement programs by ensuring compliance with all software licensing agreements; managing
and safeguarding software media and licensing; developing and maintaining technology polices, standards and procedures (for example, technology
checklists, manuals); and providing on-going technical training to team members.
Maintains automation systems (for example, instruments, controls, software) through proper change management practices by ensuring routine
maintenance completion; updating all network systems (for example, servers, process controls, interfaces, manufacturing network systems, business
systems); and inspecting, repairing, and adjusting Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems,
and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and related equipment using electrical test equipment, circuit diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and
building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business
needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on
i mprovement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by
incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR Associate’s degree and
4 years’ experience working with automated systems in a manufacturing or distribution facility OR 5 years’ maintenance experience in industrial
control system development and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications
7 years’ experience programming and troubleshooting automated control systems (for example, integration, electronics, robotics, fiber optic
sensors, pneumatic-hydraulic controls, touch panels, programmable logic controls (PLC), human machine interface (HMI)) and utilizing one-line
and electrical schematic design, electrical equipment control, instrumentation, and configuration (for example, pump/Variable Frequency Drive,
Allen Bradley, Factory Talk, Siemens, and B&R brand controllers and systems).
5 years’ experience in dairy, food processing or manufacturing environment requiring knowledge of industry and governmental regulations (for
example, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (OSHA).
4 years’ management experience including responsibility for budgeting, scheduling, and project planning and implementation
