What you'll do

Directs and optimizes supply chain execution within complex (for example, based on risk, number of suppliers, region, seasonality, or number of
items) merchandise categories by determining and approving an item flow path channel from supplier to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit
metrics; coordinating the collaboration between suppliers, Logistics, Transportation, Merchandising, and Planning as it pertains to supply chain
management (for example, inventory levels, flow paths, seasonal flow plans) to ensure sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals are
achieved; coordinating the timing of the movement and arrival of merchandise across the supply chain; developing and presenting recommendations
to Regional Managers (RM's) to address conflicting goals; identifying order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints (for example, natural
disasters, manufacturing, transportation) that will impact supply chain execution; and developing and coordinating a resolution.
Proactively identifies ways to improve supplier efficiency and manages multiple complex (for example, based on risk, number of suppliers, regionality,
seasonality, or number of items) supplier relationships by determining root causes and identifying improvement opportunities (for example, on time in
full (OTIF), truck load optimization (TLO)); developing training and onboarding material for suppliers; providing guidance, building strategy, ensuring
execution, and managing relationships across the company; addressing performance issues and providing training when necessary (for example,
supply chain fundamentals); and establishing and reinforcing desired behaviors and service expectations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Manages and implements order smoothing to better meet customer demands and manage inventory by determining the most economical method to
order product while satisfying customer demand; understanding the relationship between optimal product quantities and price reductions; comparing
historical information and current demands to influence flow decisions across the company; monitoring order cadence and adjusting as needed;
synthesizing and interpreting data (for example, SQL, Alteryx) to understand; and proactively identifying ways to reduce costs through the supply
chain process across the company.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business
plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring
progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work
environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching
for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to
others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business
partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness;
and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Preferred Qualifications

Min Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 2 years’ experience in retail, supply chain, or related field OR 4
years’ experience in retail, supply chain, or related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
6 years’ experience in supply chain, merchandising, ore related field.
4 years’ experience working with cross-functional teams.
4 years’ experience with Retail Link.
