What you'll do

Supports the Walmart eDiscovery and Forensic Services Lab quality management system by offering ideas for process improvements; identifying
policies, procedures and practices that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of laboratory operations; and completing assigned corrective and
preventive actions as requested.
Supports business continuity and investigative support requests to the Walmart eDiscovery and Forensic Services Lab by performing digital and
multimedia forensic analysis across multiple operating systems and hardware (e.g., computer forensics on workstations and servers, mobile device
forensics); performing advanced data recovery techniques; performing video forensics and enhancements; documenting technical actions and
processes to fulfil each lab request; identifying and developing new methods for preservation, recovery, and analysis of digital data/evidence;B and
maintaining certification through continuing education, training, and successful completion of proficiency tests.
Participates in lab responsibilities by receiving assignments from team leads and management; giving updates on progress of assignments to
stakeholders; contributing in team meetings and discussions; and researching, documenting, and presenting new technology information to the team.
Maintains a knowledge base of documentation by completing assigned technical services and service requests, performing digital device/evidence
intake and completing corresponding documentation (chain of custody);B documenting technical processes and procedures of technical (examination)
notes; writing technical notes in accordance with and following industry best practices; and writing report content appropriate for intended audiences.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and
building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business
needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on
improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by
incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others
with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years
experience in information technology or related field within the last 7 years OR 5 years experience in information technology or related field within
the last 7 years.
