What you'll do at

As a Sr. Product Manager in Supply Chain Tech you will work on the core Logistics Item Master platform and create its product vision, define roadmaps and key features to enable it to serve various supply chain systems.
You are responsible for bridging business and technology to drive innovation by owning the product lifecycle from concept through launch. Responsibilities include:
• Envision and build key platform capabilities that ensure data accuracy, integrity and scale in order for the data to be available at the Walmart Enterprise level (i.e. stores and dotcom).
• Collaborates effectively with business owners in planning and executing initiatives and provide updates on status, risks, and issues using Confluence and other tools.
• Work with engineers in a technical environment to instrument data and pipelines, and put in KPI’s that measure platform reliability and performance.
• Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Work with product and engineering teams in a fast paced, agile development process.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in product/ program/project management, business operations, and/or related functions.
• BA/BS degree is required with preference for degrees in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. MBA preferred.
• Proven experience leading and managing complex, cross-organizational projects is critical, preferably in a supply chain/operations environment.
• Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders. 

• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners. 

• Experience with micro-service architecture and delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment.
• An ability to influence without direct authority, as well as applying an appropriate level of assertiveness, is critical.
• Strong understanding of platform, architecture design and API’s.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot operational issues and drive RCA with engineering.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to build business and financial models and perform "What-If" analysis.
