What you'll do at

  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments
  • Defines the Human Resource(HR) strategy to support the assigned business area
  • Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
  • Drives talent management initiatives for assigned area
  • Drives the execution of Human Resources (HR) practices, systems, programs, and policies in the assigned area(s)
  • Ensure compliance with company HR policies and local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Investigate and ensure associate, customer and supplier concerns are resolved, using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
  • Monitor and ensure area of responsibility's compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives
  • Oversee, direct, and conduct day-to-day operations of all HR related functions (e.g., benefits, hiring/transfers, terminations, payroll, associate relations programs)
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
  • Serve as a community liaison
  • Supervise and/or manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management or related field and 2 years HR Generalist experience (for example, payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with 1 year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing employees, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Human Resources Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates, and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates, including dealing with employment compensation/payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting/staffing, organizational planning, and/or training and development programs OR 4 years experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees including one year of experience managing human resource processes (for example,staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years' Dairy Manufacturing industry experience.
  • 5 years' experience managing human resource processes (for example, staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits).
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management or a related field AND 3 years experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees.
  • Human resources or training professional certifications (for example, PHR/SPHR, ASTD).
