Walmart Labs is partnering with Path Forward, a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower people who’ve been focused on caregiving transition back to the paid workforce. The Path Forward Return to Work program is a 16- week paid internship for experienced professionals, returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. After completing the four-month program, qualified candidates will be considered for conversion to available full-time opportunities at Walmart.

If you are passionate about customer experience research, have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least 2 years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent, we welcome you to apply and join our team. Responsibilities include:

Work on user customer experience research and measurement projects for Walmart Labs and lead small independent store and omnichannel research studies 
• Assist with planning and running research studies (e.g. recruit participants for onsite studies, take notes during user interviews, design surveys, operationalize constructs, launch surveys)
• Analyze data from research projects (e.g. qualitative and quantitative methods)
• Conduct online research on various topics or technologies and report high-level findings 
• Present findings to stakeholders, executives in the CX, product, analytics, and marketing teams

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, or social science related field, computer science, user experience, data analytics.

2+ years professional experience in consumer/customer research or a closely related field

Strong presentation, oral, and written communication skills

Organized, proactive and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with data analysis in Excel or other statistical software

Applied knowledge of statistical concepts 

Applied knowledge of psychometrics and research methodologies

Master’s degree in I/O psychology, or other behavioral science field
