What you'll do at

  • Maintain processes and systems to drive excellence in delivery of quality, patient-centered care and overall patient satisfaction/experience.

    Ensures clinic operates within the guidelines established by Walmart management team and in accordance with laws and regulations.

    Coordinate and oversee daily operations for multiple service lines and functions within the clinic. Responsible for clinic communications, policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, workflow, medical and office supplies, and employee relations

    Maintain provider, staff scheduling and patient schedule templates for all services
    Resolve problems or issues patients have with clinical systems, policies or staff. Identify and resolve administrative issues/concerns. Serve as first line in resolving administrative patient issues.
    Manage administrative/clinical staff including recruitment, hiring, orientation, retention, development and discipline.
  • Monitoring & management of Electronic Medical/Health Record
    Develops and maintains processes and systems to drive excellence in delivery of quality, patient-centered care and overall patient/customer satisfaction
    Engages with patient, visitors, associates, providers and leadership to coach, mentor, consult and educate on customer service recommendations and best practices to drive patient satisfaction and engagement.
    Serves as the stakeholder champion for developing and maintaining a service culture for the clinic to improve the experience of our patients and other key customer groups
    Establishes and enforces policies and procedures for operations by developing and maintaining operational business plans for program requirements; providing input to strategy development and the research and development of new operational flows; coordinating activities with other functions and vendors to obtain optimum production and utilization; enforcing asset protection and safety controls; and implementing, enforcing, and updating standard operating procedures to ensure consistency with processes.

    Manages operating budgets and finances by providing strategic input to budget planning process; ensuring budgets and financial performance align with business strategic requirements; ensuring assets, liabilities, revenues, and operating expenses are accounted for and reported; and compiling and evaluating financial data to ensure operating procedures meet business needs

    Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

    Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous supervisory/management experience in a clinic/practice
    5 years healthcare management & customer relations experience, or comparable leadership background
    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
    Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
    The ability to function in a highly matrixed environment

Preferred Qualifications

4 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
Specialized familiarity and proficiency with multiple Practice Mgt. and Electronic Medical Records system(s) utilized in the daily operation of a clinic.”
5 years’ experience clinical experience.
