What you'll do at

Duties: Executes complex sourcing projects by consulting with cross-functional, globally-diverse, responsible, sustainable, and ethical suppliers; trains third party (external) suppliers on sourcing processes and tools; develops project plans and timelines and tracking process to these plans; communicates project requirements; identifies project risks and develops recommendations on how to address these risks; liaises between suppliers and key stakeholders (for example, Buyers, Store Operations); and optimizes sourcing projects through supplier interaction and elevates project challenges to the right level and seeks solutions. Analyzes projected financial savings for area of responsibility and influences operational direction by evaluating past performance, trends, and industry projections (for example, shifts in manufacturing supply base, changes in supply and demand); utilizes purchasing and cost tools and technology; collaborates with planners and category managers to deliver financial plans, projects category financial forecasts, and prepares financial scorecards; partners with stakeholders to prepare and integrate sourcing plans into operational initiatives; executes processes focused on cost and expense reduction; and reports business risks and opportunities to senior management. Executes global, regional, or local sourcing processes and programs by communicating sourcing strategy to stakeholders; partners with senior management and stakeholders to identify and gather key data and business needs. Facilitates product specification and strategy calls and delivering presentations; organizes and manages e-sourcing tools (for example, bid sheets, request for proposal (RFP) documentation); liaises between stakeholders and suppliers to address supplier questions and concerns regarding RFP constraints and requirements. Tracks progress toward process and program milestone dates; identifies and addresses program risks and information gaps; and ensures compliance with sourcing standards. This position does not supervise any employees.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Data Warehousing using SQL Server and Teradata; Business Intelligence tools including Power Pivot, Power Query (DAX language); Data Visualization tools Power BI and Tableau; Project Management technology including MS Project; advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word techniques; online analytical processing (OLAP) and data mining with Microsoft SQL Analysis Service (SSAS); ETL with SQL Server Integration (SSIS); SAP ERP Business Warehouse; and statistical analysis, data cleaning and automation, and reporting tools such as Alteryx. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
