What you'll do at

In this role, you will integrate business needs into design strategy and own the deliverables for complex projects and engagements. You will lead efforts to translate design research, strategy, and interactions into high-fidelity prototypes for Walmart.


  • Serve as a hands-on technology expert, shaping the concept and seeing it through to detailed design and implementation across a variety of devices and platforms for the Design team and our product partners.
  • Create a collaborative and innovative environment that advocates user-centered design and an effective digital experiences across platforms and modalities.
  • Own the analysis, design and development activities of multiple projects to build complex prototypes and take initiative to drive the execution in a timely manner.
  • Lead the design of next-generation user experience standards (i.e. reusable navigation schemes, components, and templates) across the company's products, ensuring a consistent, appealing and dynamic user experience.
  • Ensure the execution of new and improved design concepts, guidelines, and design patterns, while demonstrating feasibility within existing production systems and paths to future innovation.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's and 4 years of experience OR Master's and 3 years of experience OR 6 years of experience in UX Design and front-end development

Key qualities required:

  • Advanced knowledge of design practices, prototyping practices, and current engineering methodologies.
  • Deep engaged and conversant in new technologies and their technical and cultural implications.
  • Expert prototyping strategies, measurements, and tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
  • Strong voice in product design, with a proven ability to consistently transform complex user tasks into compelling, effective, and polished user experiences.


Preferred Qualifications

Background in agile product development; experience working in a large organization with products at scale; understanding of business constraints and opportunities.
