What you'll do at

This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related
responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Manages and facilitates warranty issues by establishing warranty procedures and assigning issues to the appropriate vendor; identifying, tracking,
and addressing manufacturer component defects or compatibility issues; managing warranty reimbursement; and ensuring corrections are made with
minimal disruptions to stores and clubs. Manages vendors by establishing contracts with set service-level agreements; sourcing and bidding projects; pre-qualifying vendors; assessing feasibility of engineers' recommendation; approving scope of work and engineering plan reviews; creating and maintaining data files on repairs and modifications; communicating Corporate and industry standards to vendors; ensuring compliance with standards; evaluating and reporting vendor performance; notifying vendors of code violations or Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) issues; and releasing vendors who do not meet standards. Leads cross-functional teams engaged in Facilities Management Initiatives and special projects; leading project meetings with customers, suppliers, and Facilities team members; suggesting improved project methodologies and processes; driving consensus on business objectives and project goals and plans; anticipating and addressing changing priorities; developing adaptive solutions to resolve competing priorities; assigning tasks and delegating responsibilities to project participants; and holding self, peers, customers, and suppliers accountable. Ensures customer satisfaction and resolves customer and business issues by working with customers to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and obstacles; pilot-testing to validate functionality; analyzing data and performing trend analyses; identifying "at-risk" projects, root causes and installation errors; develops solutions and required improvements; resolving service, support, or projects-related issues; leading war rooms as necessary to keep projects on track; communicating expectations, updates, and progress to key stakeholders; documenting corrections and customer acceptance of solutions; auditing final installation status; and issuing a final report. Plans and manages schedules and projects plans of nationwide Facilities Management Initiatives with minimal guidance by defining and organizing project team operating parameters, milestones, and reporting systems (for example, budget creation, business requirements, communication plan, project status updates, risk assessment, target dates); developing project documentation and work breakdown structures; providing site and project specifications; ensuring local and state permits are acquired and inspecting documentation; ensures compliance to regulatory and company requirements; responds to and resolves regulatory or company compliance violations; monitoring progress versus plan; escalating, resolving, and prioritizing critical, complex, or difficult issues; motivating subject matter expert(s) for root-cause resolution; utilizing scope-change orders; tracking expenditures and budgets; & managing project performance reports.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and
guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and
building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships & partnerships w/key stakeholders. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Management, or related field and 2 years’ experience in
facilities management, project management, operations management, construction management, engineering, or related field OR 4 years’
experience in facilities management, project management, operations management, construction management, engineering, operations or related
field.
1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or related facilities manager certification.
1 year's experience managing large, complex enterprise programs.
2 years’ experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts.
2 years’ experience managing departmental or project budgets, financials, and return on investment (ROI).
