The Online Grocery, Customer Experience team lives on the front line of e-commerce innovation. Assures consistent quality of production software by developing and enforcing End to End testing across all critical initiatives. This is a critical role in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers by demonstrating that existing and new products meet the highest standards of security , reliability , user-friendliness , accuracy and speed . The Senior Manager of End to End engineer will work cross functional and partner with the various engineering teams by validating test scripts, use cases, and driving automation of test cases. This role requires high collaboration and leadership in working with Engineering, Product Owners, QA Engineers and Program Management.

Objectives
Create the best in class QA automation and process for Grocery End to End QA teams
Establish a fully automated E2E automation cycle (Requires building new APIs plus tools to simulate end to end testing)
Lead a cross functional team both inside Customer Experience and other pillars in building and automating to achieve the best results
Teach engineering teams how to develop their own automation and how to quickly stand up new features.
Conduct lesson learned when a gap has been exposed.
Conduct daily End to End test on engineering branches

Responsibilities

• Engages in positive and professional interaction with Developers, Product Management and other project team members.
• Defines and implements End to End quality assurance practices and procedures
• Develops and implements live QA testing methodologies and implements QA metrics.
• Monitors and tracks all issues.
• Analyzes formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
• Communicates test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and project team.
• Analyzes discrepancies in service or performance and makes recommendations for product or service updates.
• Collaborates with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
• Ensures that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
• Closely works with product management and development to ensure priorities and objectives are aligned with business needs
• Works with product management, development, documentation, and support as part of the full product lifecycle

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of Software QA experience and/or automated testing experience
• 10+ years’ experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
• Proven track record in leading end to end programs across eCommerce sites.
• Experience in performing all levels of testing including: Functional, UI, System, Load/Stress/Performance, Installation and Regression
• Knowledge in estimating, developing and executing effective test plans for new and existing functionality
• Experience setting QA metrics to measure quality and defects
• Ability to work individually and on a team, self-motived with strong work ethic
• Ability to influence a group of quality assurance engineers who test, evaluate, and validate initiatives and identify issues in software or services, reporting on progress, and making wise decisions to adapt plans as things change
Positively communicate with stakeholders on different technical and project management aspects
