What you'll do at

  • Develops and implements comprehensive corporate safety training programs
  • Develops and implements safety practices and procedures to drive performance
  • Directs and leads division, region, market, and club management on safety and risk management practices
  • Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
  • Ensures business needs are being met
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations and company policies
  • Implements risk mitigation strategies
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Occupational/Industrial Safety, Risk Management, or related field and 4 years managerial experience responsible for a safety and health program/department OR 6 years of managerial experience responsible for a safety and health program/department.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience dealing with governmental regulatory agencies such as OSHA or EPA
  • 2 years management experience in retail or service industry operations
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional), OHST (Occupational Health & Safety Technologist), or ARM (Associate in Risk Management).
  • Experience in multi-unit or multi-level management.
  • Masters degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management or related field.
