Senior Manager, Marketing - eCommerce Cross Category Marketing

What you'll do at

As a Senior Manager of Cross-Category eCommerce Marketing, you will own marketing for Walmart’s cross-category eCommerce-led campaigns. Focusing on developing Walmart’s brand to win major online retail moments, the Senior Manager of Cross-Category eCommerce Marketing will create cohesive, compelling shopping experiences and high-performing media programming. This role also plays a critical role in defining the brand promotional strategy and key retail seasons. In this role, the Senior Manager, Cross-Category eCommerce Marketing will partner closely with retail, global site and supply chain teams to create value and retail-moment-driven experiences that go the distance for our customer.

Challenges you’ll be tackling
•Deliver the marketing strategy for eCommerce only campaigns such as Game Time and Summer Seasonal programs, creating connected, new-to-market executions
•Act as the voice of customer and champion of all global acquisition and retention strategies related to achieving the Company’s omni-channel customer targets, ensuring we win digitally engaged, loyal shoppers who love our brand and continue to come back and shop with us outside of peak seasonal timeframes
•Work shoulder to shoulder with the seasonal retail and global site teams to effectively curate top products and well-designed experiences for gifting, value and solution-based experiences that meet the customer objectives for the campaign
•Develop and oversee a “mini-CMO” assigned to cross-category value pushes to deliver connected experiences and media touchpoints
• Own campaign-level revenue targets, including creating driving-based models to ensure site KPI’s, cross-category media and advertising revenue support underlying KPI’s needed to hit desired targets
•Drive campaign-level learning agendas to arrive at a deeper understanding of consumer habits during key shopping moments through 1st and 3rd party data and research, to effectively and efficiently acquire and retain customers and grow LTV.

Position Description:
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals
Directs the development of annual plans
Manages the Walmart brand
Oversees and directs the development and implementation of large-scale marketing initiatives (for example, on-site merchandising, advertising, store integration)
Oversees the development and management of key supplier partnerships on new and existing marketing initiatives
Provides overall direction
Sets and oversees marketing budgets

Minimum Qualifications

•3-5 years in eCommerce and/or direct response/digital marketing for a Consumer brand or service
•Data oriented with experience creating driver-based campaign models in Excel that effectively model multiple business drivers such as customer acquisition, purchase funnel effectiveness and media returns
•Working knowledge of how to use various digital marketing channels and build integrated marketing campaigns
•Deep understanding of key eCommerce KPI’s and proven ability to structure and evaluate performance data to arrive at actionable results and go-forward learnings
•Experience designing web pages and integrated digital media plans to support campaign objectives
•Experience successfully delivering cross-functional projects with special focus on good creative partnership and collaboration skills
•Excellent executive communication and presentation skills. Proficient in MS PowerPoint
•Passion for the Walmart customer and our brand
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field and 4+ years of experience in marketing

Preferred Qualifications

•MBA or Masters in related field
