What you'll do at

  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Develops project management practices
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs
  • Ensures project manager development and continued successful performance
  • Leads and participates in teams
  • Leads the development of eCommerce projects and programs
  • Manages geographically distributed teams, off-shore development teams and third-party vendors (for example, software vendors, hardware vendors, photo vendors, content providers)
  • Manages multiple highly complex projects (for example, system integrations) or a large complex Global eCommerce program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 5 years technical program management experience OR Master of Science and 2 years technical program management experience OR 9 years technical program management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active/Past Experience, within Item, Catalog or Supplier Technology Division
• Experience managing projects with Item File Infrastructure and or Retail Link applications)
• Cross functional project management experience spanning multiple Business Units/Walmart Labs Teams
• Experience managing projects with Item File Infrastructure and or Retail Link applications
• Cross functional project management experience spanning multiple Business Units/Walmart Labs Teams
• Experience managing projects with Item File Infrastructure and or Retail Link applications.
• Demonstrates cross functional project management experience spanning multiple Business Units/Walmart Labs Teams.
• At least five years of engineering program management experience with 3+years leading and delivery programs using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exposure to large-scale systems program management.
• Efficiency using JIRA, confluence and program management tools.
• Ability to develop program/project/release plans and timelines (usually involving multiple tracks) while monitoring execution progress.
• Ability to drive resolution of possible scope/time impacts by formulating mitigation plans and presenting viable options to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects from inception to successful completion.
• Experience with managing geographically distributed teams, off-shore development teams and third-party vendors.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates to improve program productivity.
• Ability to establish and maintain clear chains of accountability for program team.
• Experience interfacing and communicating with executive, business and technical Stakeholders.
