What you'll do at

Technician, Warehouse Records - Compliance

Processes and prepares incoming mail for storage and retrieval by opening pallets of store and club boxes; cataloging and categorizing boxes in preparation for storage; reviewing record tracking information for completeness (for example, missing store number, torn envelopes); following up with customer to complete tracking information if required; itemizing non-document items and preparing for shipment to PMDC; notifying stores and clubs that are non-compliant on record retention storage guidelines; and maintaining record storage documentation.

Coordinates regular tasks by assembling boxes and lids and stacking on pallets to be racked for future use; cleaning the warehouse; and performing limited maintenance on equipment (for example, filling forklift batteries with water, charging forklift batteries, changing pads on the floor cleaner).

Completes work assignments and priorities in Records Management by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co- workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or computer. Enters and locates information on computer.
Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment.
Observes associate, customer/member, or supplier behavior. Reads information, often in small print.
Safely operates large power equipment. Sits or stands for long periods of time. Visually inspects equipment.
Visually locates merchandise and other objects. Visually verifies information, often in small print.
Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
