What you'll do at

As the Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for understanding our overall product mix and developing the market positioning around each technology (with an eye on the whole). You will be working with a wide variety of groups across the business including the product and engineering leads, in-market materials and creative teams. You will develop the framing, communication and training plans, in market materials (with support from our creative team), and support the overall discovery and new product build process.

Most importantly, you’ll play an instrumental role in the continued development of one of Walmart’s fastest growing businesses, helping to redefine how brands connect with consumers in the place where it matters the most! Every day we work with hundreds of brands, reach millions of customers and influence billions in sales.

Specially, we’re looking for ambitious, fun, entrepreneurial, people-oriented folks who are truly willing to roll up their sleeves to solve business challenges in creative and structured ways (no lie, you might not have sleeves by the end of this).

•Deeply understand our products, our competitions’, our buyers and their motivations
•Develop materials to support the ongoing rollout of new and existing products (including sales materials, training content, playbooks, market intelligence, case studies)
•Translate in-depth engineering product understandings to market ready materials
•Work closely with creative teams to bring stories to life
•Source and elicit details for content development
•Develop client advocacy programs
•Support in discovery of new product asks / requirements
•Create holistic picture and playbook around all products
•Drive major product launches

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• 3 years’ experience in buying, marketing, visual merchandising, ecommerce retail operations management, or related field OR 5 years’ experience in buying, marketing, visual merchandising, retail operations management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience leading a cross-functional team.
• 2 years’ experience negotiating (for example, cost, product quality, delivery terms) in a merchandising field.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
