What you'll do at

Develops multiple business strategy and execution plans for the online auctions business for Sam's by working cross-functionally to
understand current behavior and identify future needs of members and strategic opportunities; securing resources required to execute the business
plans; prioritizing decision making and critical path milestones; and developing business case and ROI projections for senior leaders.
Ensures business objectives are met by leading the execution of business plan(s); establishing processes and practices that ensure operational
excellence; conducting operational reviews; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and creating accountability and transparency
through accurate and effective reporting and communication.
Provides leadership and vendor management of multiple third-party/vendor contracts and system providers by ensuring profitable partnership that
provides members with an outstanding experience when using the third party auctions platform; mitigating legal risk associated with trademark
inventory; fostering highly productive relationships with key stakeholders; ensuring collaboration with Global eCommerce (GeC) and Information
Systems Division (ISD) on platform integration and enhancements; and approving invoices and managing expenses required for service and platform
upgrades.
Leads and oversees the research, development, communication, and implementation of liquidation processes and procedures to achieve maximum
amount of liquidation revenue by collaborating with buyers to determine optimal exit strategies; negotiating contracts with vendors; and sourcing
alternative liquidation providers.
Manages profit and loss (P&L) of Auction business by evaluating, analyzing and forecasting sales and expenses; providing inventory
management; meeting margin and recovery rate plan to minimize financial loss; and managing the budgeted expense and gross revenue plan.
Manages financial performance for multiple categories by monitoring sales volume and its impact on items; analyzing, interpreting, and predicting item
or product financial trends; monitoring changes in the market and identifying outside influences on category financial performance; and projecting
future financial performance based on history and other relevant information (for example, product or item mix, expected growth).

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Merchandising or related field OR 4 years experience in
Retail Operations including P&L responsibility, Merchandising, Marketing or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

1 years of supervisory experience.
