What you'll do at

We are seeking a Quality Engineer III professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Create test plans and test cases. Test and deploy the desktop and mobile features using tools including Android SDK, xcode, iOS, testrails, jira, charles proxy, http header, and other open source tools. Participate in store desktop and mobile projects and deliver quality features to customers. Create and maintain automation tests using automation framework nightwatch.js/selenium, javascript and JSON for desktop applications. Create and maintain automation tests using automation framework nightwatch.js/appium, javascript and JSON for mobile applications. Monitor the health of desktop and mobile features in production using open source tools including splunk, new relic, and medusa. Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze, debug, and resolve design and code issues. Create and maintain continuous integration pipeline in Linux/Unix Environments for store desktop and mobile projects using Jenkins, looper and other open source tools. Monitor the build pipelines on a daily basis, fix the failed tests, code review of peers, and work with git for source code management.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills.

Skills required: Experience in testing desktop and mobile applications using open source tools including postman, httpheaders, Android SDK, xcode, and iOS. Experience in desktop automation using open source tools including Selenium and nightwatch.js. Experience in mobile automation using open source tools including Appium and nightwatch.js. Experience in source management tools including git and subversion. Experience in building CICD pipelines using Jenkins, ANT, Maven and other open source tools. Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments. Demonstrated knowledge of database query tools. Experience with writing and running SQL queries for data validation. Demonstrated knowledge of web services standards and related technologies, including XML, SOAP, JSON, and REST. Demonstrated knowledge of monitoring tools, including new relic, splunk, medusa, and couchbase. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills.
