What you'll do at

Strategic planning process (20%):

Building out & supporting the strategic planning process in partnership with the PMO team and the executives. This role will require working across organization and helping evaluate & prioritize the top initiatives for the business. This would include coordinating roadmaps across teams, understanding & escalating risks with dependencies and liaising with Labs to understand resource requirements and scope & complexity of programs. The key deliverable would be to ensure that the strategic initiatives have a strong linkage with the financial plans.

Operating Mechanisms (30%):

Leading the creation of & operationalizing the KPI framework & establish regular reporting to drive accountability in the business. Lead the weekly and monthly operating mechanisms to drive action towards achieving organizational goals. Bring to the executives in a clear, summarized way the key business issues and ideas to help bridge the gap. This role requires a good mix of execution, thought leadership & influencing skills.

Analysis & Reporting (30%)

Lead all the Close/Post-close reporting to leadership, GEC and the U.S. Segment which includes - Board memos, BOD decks and any other external comms required.
Partner with teams across to understand the financial impact of projects (requiring ROI, NPV and DCF financial modeling) to analyze the business from new value-added perspectives and enhance the strategic role of the Finance organization.
Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis across a multitude of business operations, recommending efficiencies and savings or calling out risks or opportunities.
Run simulations on various “what-if” scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate and make recommendations to drive long term profitability on future initiatives.
Stays up-to-date on competitors and retail innovations and incorporates this into day-to-day analysis
Provide input for business decisions by producing detailed financial models and P&Ls incorporating assumptions, expectations and known risks; Prepare presentations and other supporting materials;

Ad-Hoc Projects (20%)

Drives continuous improvement processes
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Ensures business needs are being met
Ensures reporting compliance
Ensures the execution and maintenance of a solid internal control environment
Oversees and executes financial reporting and communication
Participates in mergers and acquisitions
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates

Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory experience.
5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Management Accountant
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
3+ years of experience in ecommerce finance
3+ years of experience in retail finance
Certified Internal Auditor
Self-motivated/self-managed individual
Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Proven track record of serving as finance partner to dynamic business area
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial modeling, trend analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis
Experience building a business plan for a new business concept, including consumer proposition, business operations, and financial projections
Strategic mindset who thinks broadly, generates ideas, and comfortably makes decisions without all of the facts
Ability to interpret research data, trends and insights, to draw conclusions, and to understand relevant implications to our business
Ability to interact with senior leadership, influence points of view without having direct authority, and work toward consensus
Ability to manage across portfolio of projects
