What you'll do at
Ensure timely completion of updates and revisions to internal Walmart AML risk assessment and heat map by, identifying new or changed risks affecting the AML program and update assessment as required; amending assessment ratings as effectiveness of controls changes; completing periodic evaluation of maturity models; conducting comparison of results to prior year and results of other AML units to ensure uniformity in analyzing program elements; liaise with external regulators to explain results of AML risk assessments and develop summary reporting for leadership.
Design and conduct compliance reviews of vendors and key stakeholders to identify possible compliance and reputational risk to Walmart by, planning and coordinate ongoing Anti-Money Laundering Oversight Committee (AMLOC) and Executive AMLOC meetings; ensuring content is appropriate and disseminated in advance for attendees; collaborating with external regulators to explain results of AML risk assessments; developing summary reporting related to risk assessments, maturity models and heat maps; and reviewing results with members of AML leadership team for feedback.
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness.
5 years’ related compliance experience.
