Position Summary...

Are you ready to build and scale something from the ground up? We’re looking for a Senior Manager- Marketplace Wallet to lead the development and growth of this innovative embedded payment product designed for our marketplace sellers across the globe.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a program from 0-to-1.  You’ll operate as the product owner of a high-impact initiative.  You’ll define the vision, develop the strategy, launch the product, and drive adoption, monetization, and operational excellence.   

The position has high visibility within the organization and requires collaboration with a broad range of cross-functional teams and leaders across Walmart Marketplace.

While this is currently an individual contributor (IC) role, it could evolve into a people leadership position as the program scales.

What you'll do...

🔍 What You’ll Do

  • End-to-End Strategy: Develop the long-term strategy and roadmap for the Seller Wallet program, including user analysis and competitive analysis to generate actionable insights that drive Wallet's business strategy, service operations, and process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with Product, UX, and Tech teams to create best-in-class Seller Wallets experiences incl. FX conversion and value-added fintech services.  Identify opportunities for differentiations and continuous iterations.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends, the competitive landscape, macro-economic factors, and emerging trends in embedded payments and fintech. Leverage the industry insights to identify and champion forward-looking innovation opportunities in embedded finance. 
  • Program Success: Define the program success metrics and develop a dashboard to monitor and report program performance to executives.  In addition, facilitate business review meetings with internal and external stakeholders to create robust operating rhythm, discuss strategic priorities, and drive accountability.  
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Partner closely with Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Account Management teams to drive product adoption, engagement, and monetization.
  • Service Excellence: Ensure best-in-class service quality and operational performance partnering with our operation teams and training front-line agents.
  • Compliance & Risk: Partner with internal compliance, legal, and risk teams to build and maintain processes to meet regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Derive actionable insights from seller feedback and data, making recommendations to improve the Seller Wallets experience, including product, services, and tools.

✅ What You'll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Operations, Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.  An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience with 5+ years in B2B payments, fintech, eCommerce, marketplace, or related fields.
  • Competencies and Qualities
    • Proven success building and scaling 0-to-1 products or programs with measurable results
    • Strong understanding of wallets, payment infrastructure, compliance (KYC/KYB/AML)
    • Customer-centric approach: Prioritizing customers' needs and pain points.
    • Analytical skills: Adept at using data and analysis to drive decisions.
    • Leadership and Teamwork: Proven cross-team leadership capabilities and the ability to foster trusting relationships with internal and external partners.
    • Drive and Accountability: High drive and bias for action, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
    • Communication: Excellent written & oral communication skills, and leadership presence across stakeholders
    • Passionate about delivering both innovation and outstanding service

    • Expertise in cross-border transactions and FX is a strong plus
