What you'll do...
The Advanced Analytics Manager, Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics, will support the Sr. Manager and Director on various projects that deliver immediate and future operational strategies across Walmart’s Supply Chain. The Manager will be primarily responsible for building dashboards for measure the health of supply chain, analyze data to root cause and address operational inefficiencies, and support buildout of analytical modeling and project plans that optimizes supply chain. He/she will support our strategic plans, both creating and implementing strategic operational improvements to enable expansion of our business’s scope and scale. This role is part of the Walmart eCommerce Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics team – a future-focused, action-biased, data-driven department chartered with improving all aspects of the supply chain from network design to inbound/outbound transportation and multi-channel initiatives by leveraging big data. This is a high-impact and high-visibility role within the organization with expectations to deliver immediate results.
Analytics: in-depth investigation of key drivers of capacity imbalance. Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct ad hoc “back of the envelope” analyses to quickly inform critical business decisions. Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor and quantify the impact of changes you make.
Collaboration: Collaborates with other associates from own team and liaises with Managers/ Specialists from other related teams or cross-functional teams as needed.
Project Scope: Owns a defined part of supply chain from measuring the health of the business to improving cost, customer experience and operational efficiency.
Business Partnerships: Prepares first draft of presentation to communicate strategic recommendations to business management, based on research and data analysis. Supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
