Senior Project Manager II - Sam's Club, Strategy Manager

What you'll do at

Advises, aligns, and influences key stakeholders on goal direction, development, and implementation by building and maintaining relationships with global senior management to increase buy-in for strategic initiatives; collaborating with leadership and influential stakeholders to establish project requirements and goals; and defining and managing the delivery of communications to program leadership and senior executives to drive performance and accountability. Oversees and leads multiple cross-functional projects by creating program plans; partnering with cross-functional program leaders to identify changes to integration touchpoints; overseeing facilitation of subject matter expert meetings to gain business insight; and using various analytical methodologies to understand and develop creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and meet business needs. Directs the development of reporting strategies and key performance indicators that drive performance and accountability by ensuring program outcomes reflect commitments to customers and partners in terms of cost, quality, and timeliness; planning and driving program-level milestone completion; identifying and mitigating program- and project-level risk; adjusting direction based on project evaluation; and championing the implementation of collaborative solutions. Drives transformational and innovative change for multiple integrated strategies across the business by assessing the climate for change; anticipating and removing obstacles inhibiting change; obtaining buy-in for changes to the design and implementation of touchpoint solutions; developing, coordinating, and adapting communication strategies, change management principles, and implementation plans; building partnerships with multiple business sponsors across the enterprise; and ensuring alignment of change management needs across the organization. Assesses key opportunities and determines strategic approach by anticipating and understanding current and future process and value gaps; translating business requirements into actionable strategies; consulting with industry experts on new and innovative approaches to methodologies; developing cross-functional assessments and business cases; identifying cost-saving opportunities and value gaps for strategic initiatives by evaluating current processes against best-in-class industry trends; recommending changes to initiatives to ensure sustainable best practices are being utilized; and providing specialized consulting throughout the life cycle of change initiatives.
