Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Logistics by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and
communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance
standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting
Develops and implements division level strategy for the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) team to sustain and improve Walmart assets by
developing a division-level strategic vision for the annual capital retrofit budget; reviewing asset analysis for retrofit program; creating five-year capital
retrofit plans for the logistics network; overseeing project scope and timelines; refining and approving budget plan with financial justifications;
managing the asset and financial programs to support and track the projects in each building; and identifying opportunities for improving quality and
reliability of equipment.
Supports material handling equipment (MHE) team mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting issues by serving as a technical expert;
analyzing key data to troubleshoot problems; developing and designing solutions to eliminate failure points and improve equipment reliability;
partnering with the vendor product development team to ensure the MHE design is compliant with Information Systems Design (ISD) standards;
partnering with vendors and their third party suppliers to develop new products and designs; providing call support to recover a distribution center's
(DC) MHE during downtime events; benchmarking the most efficient ways to remove cost and increase service from MHE manufacturing, installation,
acceptance testing and turn over to operations; creating processes for internal and external stakeholders to better manage their MHE responsibilities;
reviewing analytics and reporting MHE performance data to senior leadership; and managing a reporting process to increase focus on compliance
risks and potential solutions.
Manages vendor development by creating standards with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) vendors for their product solutions; educating the
vendors on the Walmart requirements; driving product life cycle processes for vendors; driving vendors to create solutions that can be implemented
with minimal interruption to store service; performing senior vendor management calls to drive customer service initiatives, technical and design
performance, and project management; and partnering with supplier development engineers to ensure design of new products to incorporate
learnings and to maximize the abilities of the new devices installed.
Directs the development of compliance programs by partnering with internal and external subject matter experts to create and maintain regulatory
compliance programs, operating procedures, and guidelines to ensure associates and assets are protected and risk to the company is minimized;
evaluating the effort required to correct any compliance gaps in current solutions and overseeing the development of plans to reduce company
exposure to state and federal laws and regulations; developing future solutions to incorporate state and federal requirements; managing vendor audit
programs to ensure sites are in compliance with the maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE); and negotiating service contracts with
vendors and Walmart Legal team.
Oversees the development of corporate Material Handling Equipment (MHE)projects by reviewing project schedules; prioritizing the list of projects;
determining the strategic plan to sustain the existing assets; creating the scope of work (SOW) with the vendors and sites; reviewing proposals from
vendors and negotiating the project price; presenting project financial plans to the executives; reviewing SAP documentation to release purchase
orders (POs) to the vendors

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
