About the team:
The Enterprise Inventory (EI) team is central to Walmart’s operations, delivering near real-time inventory data that supports key business functions such as replenishment, store operations, online sales, forecasting, and finance. The team leverages advanced technologies to maintain and enhance inventory applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Distributed across Bentonville and Bangalore, EI fosters collaboration across locations to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Joining this team means contributing to critical systems that impact Walmart’s business performance and customer experience on a global scale.
What you'll do:
- Analyze and classify requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical needs.
- Design scalable software solutions, applying architecture principles and design patterns.
- Develop, configure, and maintain high-quality, testable code adhering to coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and debugging to ensure performance, security, and reliability.
- Create and execute test cases to validate software functionality and quality.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot defects to maintain system stability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess change requests and implement improvements.
- Automate routine tasks within CI/CD pipelines to enhance development efficiency.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding standards across multiple languages such as JavaScript and Python.
- Experience with agile methodologies, including user story creation, requirement scoping, and iterative development.
- Ability to conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Skilled in test case development, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Knowledge of telemetry, security policies, and application monitoring tools to maintain system performance and compliance.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and technical acumen to align solutions with business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
