What you'll do at

Ensures the execution of Academy program by supporting promotion process for field operations leaders; maintaining timely class offerings and class scheduling; ensuring materials are reviewed and prepared for facilitators; creating an environment conducive to learning; identifying associate training needs; leveraging appropriate technology for facilitation processes; providing program reporting (for example, equipment racking/utilization, attendance tracking, associate course completion); ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained; reporting issues and complaints related to training schedules or requirements; and following company and legal policy and procedures regarding personal and confidential associate files. Provides career development opportunities by providing best practice feedback; setting clear expectations; maintaining open dialogue with team members; providing recommendations and talent development solutions; and providing consistent follow-up in development opportunities. Supports store talent and operation standards by aligning with store leadership for strategic utilization of Academy resources; developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; ensures consistent execution of site visits and department tours in collaboration with store leadership; influencing and aligning on course of action to eliminate standard gaps; following up with Academy participants; serving as a resource for standard questions and best practice execution (for example, One Best Way, Happy to Help); and providing and modeling company customer service standards. Manages financial aspects of Academy operations by approving/denying expenses for participants; maintaining and managing Academy budget; and ensuring alignment with store financials and profit and loss reporting.
