Senior Software Engineer

What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for contributing to quality assurance for mobile and web applications.

• You will partner with Engineers, Analysts, other engineers and business stakeholders to solve complex and exciting challenges so that we can build out capabilities that evolve the retail business model while making a positive impact on our customers' lives.

• Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information and conducting testing.

• Communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders

• Collaborating with project team and cross functional teams

• Troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs

• Interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan

• Leads the work of other small groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects by proving pertinent documents, direction, and examples

What you'll bring:

• Specialization in one of the following:

  • At least 5+ year of experience with Data Quality Automation testing.

  • Experience in building test suites using data automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber, Karate (Anyone)Experience with Load testing, performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling etc

  • Experience with QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices

• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai)

• Well versed in both private and public cloud technologies

• Deep understanding of architecture and data-driven development

• Ability to work with designers to develop dynamic user experiences

• A strong sense of ownership

• Experience building or maintaining a production application

• An ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions

• Interest or experience in building large scalable systems
