Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the development of strategies and tactics needed to grow member portfolio value by designing, performing, and delivering analytics that specifically target member acquisition and engagement along with membership upgrade and renewal; creating viable research and data analytics plans to inform long-term member portfolio strategies; and communicating and presenting immediate and future projections, results, risks, and needs to various levels of leadership and key partners to create competitive advantage in the market.
Develops planning and analytics strategies by setting strategic goals; establishing budgets; assessing risks and opportunities associated with meeting budgets based on current trends and performance; preparing and facilitating executive-level presentations regarding status of business plans; directing and leading planning and analysis teams; partnering with Finance leaders to plan and analyze business performance and opportunities; identifying and communicating processes that drive profitability and business efficiency; regularly reviewing actual performance to plan and updating forecasts accordingly; and recommending actions to improve performance.
Provides data-based insights for business strategy and membership by designing statistical or heuristic models for applications involving multiple analytical techniques and stakeholders; coordinating the development and organization of datasets that are needed to support business and member loyalty models; performing or directing data analyses by utilizing advanced statistical software and techniques; evaluating and interpreting statistical results accurately within the context of key business objectives; and coordinating and managing the work of other analytics partners, including third-party resources, to further accelerate the creation of data-driven member insights supporting membership loyalty strategies.
Analyzes and interprets information to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness by using advanced analytical methodologies and programs to synthesize business relevant information; developing creative solutions across business areas to meet goals; and using expert judgment to assign activities and ensure data accuracy.
Drives financial performance and shapes new business opportunities through business intelligence and market analysis by constructing financial models; conducting financial analysis of business performance; driving project implementation through input from financial data; identifying trends in the business; approving solutions and recommendations; defining financial reports; conducting financial modeling; analyzing current data; and defining future budgets, forecasts, and appropriate action plans to meet financial goals and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in statistics, analytics, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in statistics, analytics, or related field 1 year’s experience in the creation and application of analytics to drive retail business strategies. 3 years’ supervisory experience or experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
