What you'll do at

Drives the execution of marketing projects and initiatives for assigned vehicle(s) by analyzing and providing performance insights to key stakeholders; partnering with cross-functional teams (for example, Engineering, Production Support, Product Management) to resolve production and development issues (for example, technology improvements, bug fixes, deployments); escalating unresolved issues to senior management; and providing feedback to cross-functional partners on ad hoc marketing campaign requests. Provides insight for and influences the development of business strategies for assigned marketing vehicle(s) by leveraging customer information and competitive insights; forecasting future resource and financial needs under the guidance of the Senior Online Marketing Manager; collaborating with cross-functional partners (for example, Merchandising, Planning, Category Marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM)) to translate business priorities into tactical online marketing initiatives; and assisting in the development and alignment of strategies across marketing vehicles. Manages the Online Marketing budget for assigned vehicle(s) (for examples, paid search, affiliates, natural search) by ensuring work is delivered within marketing efficiency and return-on-investment (ROI) thresholds; and partnering with Finance and Accounts Payable to ensure efficient and accurate invoice processing. Manages vendor relationships and contracts for Online Marketing initiatives by vetting and recommending vendors in alignment with evolving business needs; partnering with the Legal Department and the contracts team to negotiate vendor contracts and renewal terms; and managing the deployment of new vendor technology. Maintains and supports the continuous improvement of Online Marketing systems, processes, and capabilities by keeping up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape; and identifying and recommending future technologies to support business goals. Manages and evaluates the performance of marketing vehicle metrics (for example, revenue, visits, conversion rates) by monitoring online advertising tracking and reporting systems and tools (for example, Omniture); compiling, analyzing, and interpreting key metrics; and identifying and implementing data-driven campaign improvements. Manages the Walmart brand by ensuring marketing campaigns (for example, search, display) are consistent with the company's overall branding guidelines.
