Compiles research findings related to product development by performing visual in-store review of items to identify variances; conducting industry benchmarking to identify product details and specifications and trends; communicating findings to relevant teams; and making recommendations to senior leaders using multiple data sources to drive improvements.
Executes sourcing activities to support business unit strategies by ensuring necessary sourcing documents are completed according to set timelines; validating data and documentation to ensure accuracy; working with cross-functional teams to ensure all necessary data points are attached to items to ensure accurate audit reporting; and assisting sourcing managers in completing special projects.
Analyzes data and provides insights to support business decisions and strategies by conducting ad hoc analyses based on business needs; gathering data from internal and external sources; consolidating data into a meaningful data set; analyzing data to determine impacts of decisions; identifying trends and gaps in the market, industry, and business strategies; developing analytical and statistical models to predict future category performance and market dynamics to determine impact of proposed solutions; consolidating findings and identifying solutions with the biggest impact to the company; developing and presenting recommendations based on analysis and trends; and providing data to internal teams to inform negotiations with suppliers.
