What you'll do at

Evaluates the ongoing effectiveness of communication plans, programs, and initiatives by consulting with key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; applying key learnings from internal and external benchmarking; participating in meetings with assigned functional areas to present status updates on communication processes, requests, and communications sent; and visiting field leadership to ensure communications are meeting field expectations. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Develops and manages strategic communications across the business by consulting with senior company leadership and participating in cross-functional teams to determine appropriate communication strategy and evaluate business needs and desired outcomes; ensuring continuity of business plans; serving as a stakeholder and as a communication subject matter expert in initiatives; drafting, designing, reviewing, and editing communications and presentations; advising on the creation of communication elements related to the divisional plan; and developing and executing plans to distribute communications. Provides communication expertise for the business by leading cross-functional communication teams; creating and providing status updates to key leaders; counseling functional area leaders and associates on writing and executing effective communications; and managing competing communication priorities for assigned business areas. Identifies and implements new and innovative communication strategies and tools by staying current on industry best practices and innovation; researching conflicting current, past, or future messaging and approaches to identify potential risks; determining the most effective methods of communication; overseeing the implementation of social media and digital communication formats and tools; and influencing global internal communications functions.
