Project Manager, Indirect Spend Management - Global Sourcing

What you'll do at

Executes global, regional, or local sourcing processes and programs by communicating sourcing strategy to stakeholders; partnering with senior management and stakeholders to identify and gather key data and business needs; driving the pre-development process, including facilitating specification and strategy calls and delivering presentations; organizing and managing sourcing tools (for example, bid sheets, request for proposal (RFP) documentation); liaising between stakeholders and suppliers to manage supplier questions and concerns regarding RFP constraints and requirements; managing and tracking progress toward process and program milestone dates; identifying and addressing program risks and information gaps; and ensuring compliance with sourcing standards. Manages complex sourcing projects by consulting with cross-functional, globally-diverse, responsible, sustainable, and ethical suppliers; training suppliers on processes and tools; developing project plans and timelines and tracking process to these plans; communicating project requirements; identifying project risks and developing recommendations on how to address these risks; liaising between suppliers and key stakeholders (for example, Buyers, Store Operations); optimizing sourcing projects through supplier interaction; and elevating project challenges to the right level and seeking solutions. Analyzes projected financial savings for area of responsibility and influences operational direction by evaluating past performance, trends, and industry projections (for example, shifts in manufacturing supply base, changes in supply and demand); utilizing purchasing and cost tools and technology; collaborating with planners and category managers to deliver financial plans, project category financial forecasts, and prepare financial scorecards; partnering with stakeholders to prepare and integrate sourcing plans into operational initiatives; executing processes focused on cost and expense reduction; and reporting business risks and opportunities to senior management.
