Implements information processes related to global trends, standards, and national, state and local statutes and regulations by reviewing data feed for application of regulations; researching regulations; managing the development and implementation of the departmental strategies, data systems and tools; creating training programs; and assisting in the execution of cross-functional policies that ensures organizational alignment.
Implements methods designed to assess global and national corporate risk and liability posed by established and emerging environmental, safety, health, and transportation requirements and standards by managing projects and cross-functional risk identification and assessment procedures, practices, protocols, and tools for use across multiple programs; and assisting in the development of risk assessment procedures through communicating and building support that leads to a joint recognition, understanding, and alignment on identified risks.
Manages the Environmental, Safety, & Health Compliance strategic vision for risk mitigation programs, data systems, and services by developing the cross-functional, multi-program, cost-effective strategies, and sustainable services that mitigate risk; implementing mitigation programs, data systems, and services; reviewing business objectives and customer needs to identify cost effective use of third party environmental service providers; and reviewing operational program processes in order to close compliance gaps and continually improve programs and services.
Supports senior management with corporate representation to regulatory agencies and external organizations by providing subject matter experience and knowledge of business area; and assist facility personnel regarding their involvement with regulators.
