Sr. Payments Operations Analyst - Marketplace Partner Services

This role will be a key member of the Marketplace Partner Services team with a focus on providing payments support to our seller community, including:

- seller payments and settlements reconciliation
- changes in e-commerce sales tax laws
- commission calculations
- detecting and responding to payments fraud situations
- ability to conduct complex analyses of payment issues using large data sets
- ability to articulate complex/technical issues as part of seller onboarding
- respond to/resolve payments related seller inquiries

You will interact with several retail business and technology teams as well as work closely with the Partner Support and Performance teams to ensure we provide a high quality, consistent and seamless partner experience.

Basic qualifications:
- BS in finance/accounting with minor in or a degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of customer facing support experience preferably related to billing/invoicing/payments
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to develop clear, prioritized and actionable requirements

Desirable qualifications:
- Advanced understanding of SQL and working with large datasets
- High proficiency with Excel based data analysis
- Direct experience with one of the following: billing/invoicing/payments/banking/transaction processing.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, [re]prioritize quickly and deliver concrete results.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
