Social Media Supervisor  

Social Media is a high performing and durable team of Jet Heads that work together daily to make sure our customers have a positive experience on our Social Platforms and Review Sites. We focus on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Android Reviews, iOS Reviews, Reseller Rating, Feedback Queue, Convey Survey’s, Power Reviews, Freight Returns, BBB, App Customer Service, Hot Jar, and NPS Surveys. Social Media Customer Service is a very important factor of Jet as we are the public face of the company. We’re looking for a dedicated individual with leadership experience that is up for a challenge in a new role as a Social Media Supervisor.  

 

What does a Social Media Supervisor do? 

  • Utilize and monitor multiple platforms 
  • Comfortable responding on public facing channels
  • Keep open communication with teams in Hoboken to ensure process flow, including Customer Retention, Customer Research, Marketing, Grocery, and Transportation
  • Stay up to date with the Social Calendar to ensure proper communication to the team/floor about upcoming posts/events
  • Coaches, guides, mentors team daily 
  • Real time creative resolutions and problem solving 
  • Escalates/handles political and high traffic situations appropriately, using the Crisis Plan when needed
  • Direct potential influencers and affiliates to the proper channels
  • Maintain predictable and consistent attendance
  • Lead by example and enforce the highest standards of professionalism and delivery of tasks, training and feedback
  • Interview, hire, train, and maintain Social Jet Heads
  • Forecast appropriately for Social staffing
  • Point of contact for the 100TT and Donations Program

 

What traits are we looking for when hiring a new Supervisor? 

  • Social Media knowledge and understanding of our public facing voice on our platforms
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with experience of highly escalated situations 
  • Promoting Jets brand voice on platforms and within the team 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Android and iOS knowledge and troubleshooting skills 
  • Not afraid of taking on a challenging or difficult situation that ends in a positive resolution 
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience 

 

Preferred traits we are looking for when hiring a new Social Media Supervisor:

  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an ecommerce environment
  • Have strong organizational skills that allow for the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal and team building skills
  • Social Media and Review Site Experience

 

Shift(s) available: 

  • Flex A/B week schedule consisting of start times between 5am and 5pm
