About the Job

The Studio Production Coordinator is a studio associate responsible for supporting the end-to-end operational and logistical needs of the photo studio. This role is the first step and the  final step in the studio photography process and responsible for ensuring all samples are received and images correctly uploaded & matched to their proper SKU in accordance with the Jet.com style guides. The Studio Production Coordinator focuses primarily on photo samples acquisition, workflow log setup & tracking, and final asset upload to site. The Production Coordinator also supports general studio needs and will work hands on in any of the 3 key studio functions: Merchandise, Photography, and Image Editing.

Responsibilities

  • Adds requests to and maintains Photo Studio tracking log
  • Executes SQL queries and processes information with Microsoft Excel
  • Picks, returns and refurbishes photography samples as appropriate
  • Checks in and sorts photography samples
  • Troubleshoots sample/sku discrepancies
  • Liaison with ICQA on behalf of Studio Merchandise Team
  • Use Jet’s custom UI to upload completed images into production pipeline
  • QA images to confirm they match SKU description and are in line with Jet’s standards
  • Image archiving, logging and asset management
  • Integrate studio images into Jet’s overall Digital Asset Management system.
  • Supports all studio functions as needed including but not limited to Image Editing, Merchandise, Photography, and Production
  • Assist with daily workflow to ensure production requirements are met
  • Maintain library of studio reference materials
  • Work independently to meet daily goals and ensure studio needs are met
  • Effectively troubleshoot and resolve product/image discrepancies
  • General studio upkeep, and organization.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

 

About You

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience with FC and/or Photo Studio Operations
  • Experience working with D.A.M. systems
  • Web design, infrastructure or development a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to get results, meet commitments, troubleshoot and solve problems that may arise as it pertains to the business's operations.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills to allow productive collaborative relationships with all levels of organization.
  • Work schedule flexibility based on project for a 24/7 operation

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills including MS office, highly proficient with Excel
  • Experience with SQL a plus
  • Understanding of web infrastructure and urls
  • Thorough understanding of information architecture, library science a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Photoshop skills are a plus, but not required
