Position Description 

 The Learning & Development Supervisor is an expert in learning practices to help support associates be their best for our customers. This position is accountable for end to end design and delivery of Learning & Development solutions and creates scalable, innovative and measurable solutions that engage learners and meet business needs. In addition to owning formal training methods, the L&D Supervisor works with managers to identify coaching needs and development plans for teams and individuals.

About Partner Operations

 The Partner Operations department includes a team of associates who provide a variety of technical and operational support for suppliers, vendors, and merchants (our partners) who are selling products on our marketplace stores. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all learning activities both in structured/formal learning settings (workshops, classroom training) as well as on the floor (demos, side-by-sides)
  • Responsible for the development of performance improvement initiatives and delivering feedback/coaching
  • Partners with Instructional Designer to ensure learning content is up to date, meets business standards and provides an engaging learning experience
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders such as Operations Managers, Business teams, Instructional Design team, Support Managers

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive experience creating and delivering training programs and initiatives
  • Passionate about learning, developing and growing associates
  • Excellent communication and deep understanding of best in class customer service practices and standards
  • Ability to choose appropriate training methods for each instance (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc)
