About the Position

Walmart’s Category Tools are a pivotal and entirely new suite of tools to empower our internal teams and create strategic advantage for the organization.  These new tools span all of the core retail capabilities e.g. Have It, Find It, Display It, Price It and Deliver It and also provide our Retail teams with the insights, data and capabilities they need to manage each segment of the business in real time, across all of Walmart’s Ecommerce properties (Walmart.com, Jet.com, Hayneedle, Modcloth, Moosejaw, Bonobos, Shoes.com).  In this role, you will be a part of the Product team that delivers these solutions to thousands of users across the Retail organization.

The Product Specialist will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and the Retail team to write user stories, internal communications and product documentation.  You will also assist with our quality and release efforts and engage directly across our base of internal Retail team users to collect and synthesize feedback and user metrics to suggest and implement tactics we can leverage to improve our tools and how they drive the experience of millions of customers who shop on Walmart’s US-Ecommerce properties.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist Product Managers in roadmap development and prioritization
  • Clearly define user stories that support product vision
  • QA features before deployment
  • Track and analyze product quality bugs
  • Understand and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Make ongoing recommendations to resolve issues in category tools
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required
  • Create internal communications and product documentation to drive adoption
  • Measure, learn and iterate following each new feature delivery
  • Serve as an internal and external evangelist for your products

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce, operations and/or analytics (Product Management experience a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent, e.g. IE, IME, MFE, ME
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities
