What you'll do at

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Be part of our growing Product Analytics Team, which helps to drive product strategy by synthesizing data into insights across the global products team. Provide both day-to-day insights and big picture analysis to help optimize the Walmart eCommerce product solutions. Be responsible for building out a holistic view of analytics tools (i.e. SQL, Hadoop, Teradata). Work on key projects like Attribution, Testing, Personalization, and Product Optimization. Leverage data to uncover actionable business insights. Perform product analysis including performance measurement design, tracking, analysis, and reporting. Work with product and business partners to define and aggregate data. Help to answer key business questions by utilizing your knowledge of Big Data technology and Visualization tools and knowing how to leverage the platforms to blend data from multiple data sources. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field and 6 years of experience with product/data analytics for an e-commerce organization.

Skills required: Experience with A/B test design and readout. Demonstrated knowledge of Teradata Structured Query Language and Teradata programming and tuning. Demonstrated knowledge of R language. Singularity experience. Experience with Hadoop, Hive and Spark. Cassandra experience. Experience with Tableau and MicroStrategy. Experience with Statistical Analysis and Data Mining. ETL design and development experience. Data modeling experience. Experience with Shell scripting. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
