What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Performs application, web, mobile penetration tests using both automated and manual techniques to find flaws and exploits. Identifies and exploits vulnerabilities in mobile applications (iOS, Android). Provide code level fix recommendations to development teams. Works with developers and their project team to help them resolve identified security vulnerabilities and follow up with them till closure. Acts as liaison between InfoSec and other @Labs Development teams. Helps application teams implement secure SDL practices. Threats model mobile applications and teaches it to engineers. Guides application development teams to code securely. Assesses applications for security vulnerabilities using various tools. Helps with incident response.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering.

Skills required: Experience in Clickjacking, Authentication/Authorization, Privilege Escalation, and Business Logic Bypass. Experience with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, IBM AppScan, NTO Spider. Experience manually executing attacks like SQL Injection, Cross-Site Request Forgery without the use of tools. Experience in conducting secure code reviews using automated tools like Checkmarx, IBM AppScan, or Veracode. Demonstrated knowledge of authentication and SSO technologies, API/RESTful web services, mobile frameworks, or security protocols. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
