What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Define and implement white-box as well as automated test suites for core technologies, products, and Web-based applications. Participate in the design and implementation of new and existing testing framework. Develop and maintain test scripts. Participate in review and approval processes for project deliverables. Advise project teams on approaches to testing delivered products, including test tool sets. Assist project teams on identifying the needs for test environments. Coordinate the establishment of appropriate test environments. Assist in populating and maintaining regression test databases. Perform regression testing using existing scripts. Responsible for finding, tracking and prioritizing bugs and driving toward their resolution. Responsible for testing complex and business-critical areas of the site. Develop/modify test cases for new emergency bug fixes. Implement the test tools using latest technology and languages like NodeJs. Responsible for creating and maintaining test environment in OneOps. Responsible for testing Pangaea services and delivering high quality product. Responsible for mobile app testing. Develop and maintain reporting dashboard.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in building test automation framework for functional testing automation.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodology. Experience in UI automation tool: Selenium WebDriver. Experience in unit testing framework, TestNG. Experience with version control tool GIT. Demonstrated understanding of backend testing and SQL. Experience in continuous integration tool like Jenkins. Demonstrated coding and scripting skills in languages like Java and Python. Experience with Web Services automation using tools like Http Client. Demonstrated knowledge of performance testing tools, Jmeter. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
