Experience and Education needed:
• Preferred graduate PhD degree in Computer Science from a highly ranked program.
• Five+ years of large company search experience required.
• People leadership a plus but not required.
• A professional who has a passion for leveraging search technology and computer science techniques to drive business value and make a difference at an unbelievable scale.

  • Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce

  • Directs multi-disciplinary teams to define and create enterprise-level solutions and strategies for complex problems
  • Drives cross-functional teams to develop ideas, programs, or initiatives
  • Drives large-scale implementations leveraging industry knowledge (for example, databases, server and storage, directory solutions, integrations, web services, networking and multi-channel solutions)
  • Maintains awareness of and consistency with emerging industry solutions to create the latest technological strategies, solutions, and roadmaps
  • Provides overall direction
  • Provides tactical direction based on global business needs

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 10 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 15 years OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 8 years experience in information technology or related field within the last 15 years.

Preferred Qualifications

4 years experience integrating new technologies or technical solutions into existing technology portfolio.
4 years experience using object-oriented design concepts.
5 years experience leading cross-functional teams in information technology or related field.
6 years experience creating and presenting technical strategies and technical solution recommendations.
6 years experience designing and implementing technical solutions using industry standard tools (for example, Java) and design patterns (for example, integration patterns).
