What you'll do

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager, Product Analytics professional in our San Bruno, CA office.

Duties: Provide strong consulting through a deep understanding of business problems, being able to connect data, analytics and people, and to develop and implement creative solutions to support the social marketing. Work with a team of high-performing analytics, data science professionals and product managers to identify business opportunities and optimize product performance/engagement. Own end-to-end product analytics - analyze and mine both structured and unstructured data to drive product centric as well as user centric insights. Develop and test analytical solutions to be leveraged by both internal and external clients. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage insights across multiple pyramids throughout the organization. Leverage technical skills to provide analytical insights to the global product organization and be responsible for leading reviews with senior management; take ownership of performance and adjust tactics to meet objectives. Support the analytical needs of the global product management team (CAM) inclusive of routine reporting, ad hoc, statistical inference and predictive modeling for our global expansion. Leverage data engineering experience, including SQL and experience manipulating structured and unstructured data sources for analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Operational Research, Business, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or another quantitative field of study and 5 years of industry experience analyzing data.

Skills required: Experience using SQL, ETL, and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets to provide business intelligence to the organization. Experience building programs to analyze data with SAS and R programming. Data warehousing experience to create and maintain data marts and data. Data extraction and cleaning experience. Data Analysis experience. Experience with Descriptive Analytics to develop, maintain, and automate analytics reports and dashboards. Experience with Predictive Modelling to build Statistical Models such as Linear/Logistic Regression to predict outcomes from data. Hadoop and Hive experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Tableau. AB Testing experience. Data Mining experience. Employer will accept any amount of experience for the skills required.
