What you'll do

We are seeking a Sr. Security Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Perform threat modeling activities on applications change review board before deployment to production. Perform manual security testing using Burp professional to cover logical application scenarios. Validate security bugs found by other internal teams, vendors and external security researchers. Perform application penetration tests to find complex web application issues like XSS, IDOR, CSRF and SQL injection attacks. Provide code level fix recommendations to development teams. Work with developers and their project team to help them resolve identified security vulnerabilities and follow up with them till closure. Perform security architecture review on applications deployed in the enterprise. Perform secure source code review using automated tools and manual approach. automate security test cases and deploy vendor solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any) or related field and 5 years of experience in secure SDLC activities.

Skills required: Web application Security automated testing experience using tools such as IBM Appscan, AppSpider and HP Webinspect. Mobile Application Security experience, Native, Web & hybrid android & IOS applications tested for OWASP mobile top 10 vulnerabilities. Experience using automated tools like Veracode, Checkmarx. Experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications. Direct professional experience in performing application security assessments, threat modeling and manual as well as automated code reviews. Experience with security risk analysis, gauging appropriate levels of likelihood or impact that a vulnerability presents within the context of the organization. Any amount of experience with the required skills is acceptable.
