What you'll do

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Define and implement black-gray and/or white-box as well as automated testing suites for core technologies, products, and Web-based applications. Participate in the design and implementation of new and existing testing framework. Participate in the design and implementation of multi-threading Java application. Develop and maintain test scripts. Write and maintain test automation scripts where applicable. Participate in review and approval processes for project deliverables. Advise project teams on appropriate approaches to testing delivered products, including test tool sets. Assist project teams on identifying the needs for appropriate test environments. Coordinate the establishment of appropriate test environments. Assist in populating and maintaining regression test databases. Perform regression testing using existing scripts. Responsible for finding, tracking and prioritizing bugs and driving toward their resolution.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Any), Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in Java development, Quality assurance or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Any), Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in Java development, Quality assurance or related experience.

Skills required: Design and coding experience in Java, Spring and related technologies. Hands on experience with relational and NoSQL database - Oracle, MySql, Cassandra, Couchbase. Experience with design and development of REST webservices using service-oriented architecture. Experience in white box and black box testing using Java and TestNG. Experience building systems using Cloud Technologies such as OneOps, CCM. Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana. Experience with Unix operating systems. Experience with Continuous Integration Systems such as Jenkins. Experience with integration testing of systems. Unit testing experience with Webservices using Mockito, Powermock and JUnit. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
