What you'll doPosition: Project Manager III, Logistics Engineering
Job Location: Bentonville, AR
Duties: Performs process mapping, analysis, and preferred methods implementations of distribution logistics operational processes. Conducts productivity and capacity analysis of distribution centers. Works on logistics facilities layout and mapping of equipment and work stations. Establishes logistics project schedules and resource allocation. Engages in solution development of logistics projects. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information and analyzing the initiative's impact to the business based on collected information. Helps drive change about implementation concepts; such as problem solving, process improvement, and change management. Identifies and influences recommending changes based on data and persuading implementation of changes based on data. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a project by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables. Analyzes and interprets information for work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analysis methodologies. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Visual Basic AutoCAD scripting and Visual Basic Scripting for Data Analysis; Warehouse Design and Optimization; Labor Management and Continuous Improvement; System Automation; Capacity Analysis of Distribution Centers (DC); Structural and Electrical Drawing Analysis; Material Handling Equipment such as Shuttles, Forklifts, Conveyor Systems; Product Testing and Development; working under different cultural environments on global logistics solutions; Investment Modeling, including MIRR, NPV and Cash Flow for approval for proposed capital investments; project management, including time, suppliers and CapEx budget management; Six Sigma, including Kaizen, 5s, and fishbone analysis to diagnose root cause of DC operations issues; and, statistical methods such as regression analysis on DC processes, staff requirements, and labor standards to generate recommendations.
