What you'll do

Monitor and manage productivity of area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing and/or analyzing business reports. Monitors quality issues for customer deliveries by tracking variances in inventory deliveries; communicating with Senior Operations Manager, supervisors, vendors, and customer representatives regarding delivery issues, including the existence, cause, and resolution; and addressing aspects of delivery quality and escalating when necessary. Supports outbound transportation operations in fulfillment centers (FC) by acting as a SME for internal and external events, conference calls, and initiatives; leading strategic implementation for transportation initiatives in FCs; partnering with carrier terminals to align and cultivate collaborative relationships; facilitating calls to review carrier metrics and KPIs; applying that information to improve carrier performance; and ensuring outbound transportation resources are available to the FCs (for example, trailer pools). Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field. Proficient PC software skills. 1 years’ experience leading operational execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year’s experience managing vendor relationships. 2 years’ experience in distribution.
