What you'll do
You have at least 2 years experience deploying applications via OneOps, understand PaaS services and have a passion for helping others.
Work with developers and the systems engineering teams to resolve issues related to application configuration, deployment, and cloud standards. Provide guidance on Installation and configuration Apache/JBOSS/Node.js servers. Provide Automation best practices for the configuration and deployment of monitoring and management services.
Partner closely with the operations and engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products. Responsible for assisting with software build and release management, deployment to our servers, and for the maintenance and uptime of our production environment. Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, Assist in the diagnosis of problems, troubleshoot and develop solutions for partner issues. Lead and assist with the Automation of deployments, monitoring and self-healing.
Tomcat. Installation and configuration of JBOSS, Apache and Node.js servers. RHEL. Netscaler Load Balancer. Automation and DBaaS solution using Oracle 9i/10G/11G. JDK and JRE. SQL server. GIT, New Relic, Sauce Labs. Ruby, Shell scripting. Puppet configuration tool. JVM, Toad. Eclipse, Jenkins, New Relic Splunk, or Nagios. Python scripting. OneOps, Openshift
In Depth knowledge of OneOps and its components, Relentlessly Customer Centric, In depth knowledge of PaaS services, Hands On experience with Scripting, Ansible and other tools. Understanding of CI/CD, Akamai and Torbit CDN.
Prior use of other PaaS tools, OpenShift etc.
Understanding of IaaS
Have an interest in architecture and best practices
