Senior Software Engineer (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning)

As a member of our Innovation Engineering team you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in artificial intelligence to deliver massive efficiency gains at scale that only a few ever get to tackle. An agile mindset and a commitment to rapid delivery through MVPs are fundamental behaviors for the inaugural members of this Artificial Intelligence (AI) team we are building. We are looking for people with the right blend of technology skills, business knowledge and a passion for revolutionizing Digital Enterprise Services segments through Artificial Intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate will have senior level, professional experience within Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Also, hands on professional Java engineering skills are also a requirement.

*This position has the opportunity to be located in Austin, Texas or West Plano, Texas.*
















  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
  • Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale projects
  • Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design
  • Leads the work of other small groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects
  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
  • Provides support to the business
  • Troubleshoots business and production issues

Minimum Qualifications












  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 4 years experience in information technology or related field within the past 10 years OR 5 years experience in information technology or related field within the past 10 years OR Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• 2+ years with programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Perl, Scala or Python and open-source technologies (Apache, Hadoop)
• 2+ years of experience with OO design and common design pattern
• 2+ years of experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques and tools such as neural networks, regression, classification and clustering
• 2+ years of experience with data sources and platforms (Unix/Linux, Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server and DB2)
